A numeric seed initializes the palette, the two ellipse counts, and the size ratio between the outer and inner rings. Each composition is regenerated and documented as a distinct, traceable output.
A two-tier system of concentric ellipses — big rings wrapped around small ones, algorithmically drawn, seed-documented, and ready for textile production.
For fashion houses, textile studios and surface designers. Each composition is generated from a single numeric seed and can be licensed, adapted or commissioned to your brief.
An ellipse, when it is repeated, becomes a mandala — concentric, precise, quietly yours.
I am an Iranian-born artist working at the intersection of classical ornament and generative systems. My work begins with a simple observation: the concentric ring — rotated step by step around a shared centre — has always carried the mark of sacred geometry. From the rose windows of Gothic cathedrals to the mandalas of South Asian manuscript traditions, the repeated form is one of the oldest systems of ornamental computation we have.
Ellipses is a seed-based generative system that translates that structure into code. Each composition is built from two concentric rings — an outer ring of larger ellipses, and an inner ring of smaller ones. The two rings are offset by 45°, so their patterns interfere softly, producing a quiet, ornamental field.
The palette, the ellipse counts, and the size ratio between the two rings are all derived from a single numeric seed. Each piece can be regenerated, documented, and adapted for textile, print, and surface applications — from scarves and yardage to wallpaper and archival print.
The same seed, presented as an archival print — and applied across fabric, scarf, textile and wall surfaces without loss of structure.
Every surface below is drawn from the same numeric seed — its repeat, orientation and scale adapted to the material, while the underlying structural logic remains identical.

Two concentric rings of ellipses, each rotated step by step around the shared centre. The outer ring is offset by 45° from the inner ring, so their patterns interfere softly and produce a layered field.
The resulting composition becomes a surface-design asset — explored across garments, textile prints, wallpaper and other pattern-driven applications.
Ellipses is a generative design system rather than a single artwork. Its concentric-ring visual language can be adapted for fashion, textile development and other surface-oriented contexts — while maintaining a computational origin.
Each surface is drawn from the same numeric seed — reproducible, licensable, adaptable to your brief.
